Solved What happened to the add events or reminder

With windows 10 if I clicked on the clock/date in the task bar I could add an event or reminder. In windows 11 the selection is no longer there. Is this another item that Microsoft thought we didn't need. I know there is a To Do App but I have to be signed in to Microsoft to use it. I am on 22H2 22621.608

I think you've answered your own question.
There are a lot of things in Windows 11 that require you to be "signed in to your Microsoft Account".

I could be wrong. I don't use "reminders" on any operating system, so I am hardly an expert.
I use a 4 x 6 index card I have sitting on my computer desk for reminders.
When it's full, I toss it and start another one.

You could use Calendar.

I work from my Microsoft Account and have lost the functionality too. If this is a permanent deletion by Microsoft, I think it is a bad decision from an ease of use perspective.

I have decided to use the To Do app. It is a shame that Microsoft drops features that are handy to use.

Back in the days of paper I had sticky notes and appointment cards stuck everywhere. Instead, I started using Windows Sticky Notes. They don't accidentally fall off. You can set Sticky Notes to automatically run at startup. Go to ALL APPS list and drag Sticky notes to your desktop.
Then open Run command box by pressing Windows logo + R keys. In the Run command field, type shell: startup and then press Enter key to open Startup folder. Then drag the shortcut into that folder.

Notes can be resized, color coded, changed, or deleted at will. I resize mine so that minimum screen space is used. They'll all down in the bottom right corner of my screen.
