Solved What is this entry in my Registry and should I be concerned? What should I do?

I was looking at something in my Registry when I noticed this entry. Should I delete it? Is it suspicious or what should I do about it? It looks like it was written in foreign characters. My OS Language is English.

Copy and paste it into a web translator site.

What's in the right-hand column of the registery window ?

There's tons of them in your registry. Just ignore them.
Microsoft seems to put them at the end of the alphabet.

This is the bottom of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT...

Don't panic. This is an old problem, some applications write to the registry with unexpected character encoding -- and it shows up on your system as Asian characters. You haven't done anything wrong.

That said, keep an eye out just in case it's actually random malware.

I have checked the entire registry and have zero.
Is this on 22H2 as I am on 21H2.

You'll see them in different locations. I just know I have some in HKCR.
The ones in my screenshot are mainly related to computer save games and in game cheat consoles.

I have no idea why they used Chinese characters. Maybe they ran out of windings and dingbats.

I have scoured the complete registry and I do not have any at all.
Not one key or subkey has Asian characters in it.

It's a well known bug in Window's libraries, where character padding can force it to display strings in Chinese font. It doesn't affect the application, but only if you use Notepad or regedit to view data. The bug convinces Windows the string uses the high UTF-16 encoding, where all Asian characters live in the table.

Your app's developer could clean up the strings, but since the app works fine -- they aren't pushed to fix it.
