What makes windows 11 system files get corrupted ?


nVME's can fail or become corrupted just like a standard HDD.

It can but not common like HDD . I checked smart data but did not found a problem

Most users are not very technical. If they have had their computer for a few years, it may have come with a HDD and they wouldn't know how to upgrade it.

Or there are cheap OEMs that are still selling $200 laptops with them still in them.

A new "$200" computer would not have an SSD, it would probably be a small eMMC 32 or 64GB drive which is soldered onto the motherboard and would probably be a Chromebook with the Chrome OS.
NEW computers would not have a mechanical drive as a boot drive but may include one for data.

Well those are pretty recent events. I know Dell was still selling HDD-equipped laptops as recently as about a year ago. I haven't checked since then but they dragged out whatever leftover stock they had.
