What order SFC & DISM ?

Which two packages ?

Also, how do I ensure my ComponentStore is free of errors ?

When I run DISM I note that version is 10.0.26100.5074. This is a different number to the image number ? (as in screenshot)

Which two packages ?
You'll know the two packages because they will simply be the two that remain after you run the component store clean up. Simple as that. After your next Windows Update you may pick up some new stray packages but you will normally always have two left over after running cleanup.

When a Windows image is updated, it normally takes the highest build number of any Windows component that is present.

The other components which didn't get updated will stay at their current version numbers. An image can have many components which don't match each other in version number. Components are replaced when a new feature is added or a feature is patched for bug fixes.

So the version reported for DISM.exe doesn't have to match the Windows image's version.

So, today ran dism /restore, followed by sfc /scannow.

Ran DISM /online /cleanup-image /analyzecomponentstore. It reported the following (sorry I don't know how to do screenshots):

Reported size: 14.41 gb
Actual size: 13.30 gb
Shared with Windows: 5.32 gb
Backups & Disabled: 7.98 gb
Cache & Temporary: 335.04 kb

Reclaimable packages: 15.

Cleanup recommended.

I am trying to follow everything, but is it safe to delete the 15 packages ? I don't see any non-reclaimable packages.

Thanks.
dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

Which two packages ?
(To avoid troubles, I booted in WinPE and used WinPE to run the commands.)
Also, how do I ensure my ComponentStore is free of errors ?
  1. dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  2. If dism reports that it found issues and that it successfully fixed all of 'em, then reboot.

Yes. It is.

To add to the thread title (just happened in Ten Forums):

Computer with failure to boot to desktop > always boots into automatic repair

What order to run the commands DISM (checkhealth, scanhealth, restoreheath) & SFC /scannow, please ?

Also what about component store, please (before or after ) ?
