When I installed Windows 11 there was a "process" called "memory compression". But now, after I disabled some services, it is not there any more. I wonder, what system services are responsible?

I believe Sysmain disabled turns off memory compression.

It appears to yes, disabling on my system (really no need for it with SSDs and 64Gb RAM) also disables memory compression, whether or not it is suitable to disable on your system depends on drive types, memory amount etc, not sure if virtualisation will make use of memory compression, don't use it myself.

I was just hoping that memory compression could make more memory available as I have the pagefile disabled (slows down the operation a lot). It seems, it does not if it compresses only cache.

Well, I enabled SysMain, but still there is no compressed memory.
