Anyone knows when will my Intel NUC8i5BEH get the Windows 11 upgrade option from Windows Update?

I predict the upgrade will be offered in December this year, because I have Intel Core 8th gen processor, but it would be great to know the exact estimated time of the upgrade being offered.

I apologize for my bad English, but anyways thanks for helping.

It's an 8th gen processor, and has PTT (which you probably have to enable in the bios). Try enabling PTT and running the compatibility checker again.

I have enabled Intel PTT and I am fully eligible for the update. So basically I'm currently only waiting for the update to show in my Windows Update.

No one can predict when Microsoft will choose to offer a compatible machine the upgrade. The basic principle is newest first, but there's a lot of machine learning from their telemetry going into the decision making process. I was expecting my 10 month old PC to be offered it on day one, but had to wait 15 days before it appeared in Windows Update.

If it's compatible then you can upgrade it yourself now, as z3r010 said. It's always a good idea to make a system image with something like Macrium Reflect Free first, in case you need to restore its Windows 10.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Officially the WU for those that were not a part of the Insider testing will not begin until 2022 and then will run to the end of the first quarter.

The same eligibility criteria should apply to both update streams with the most compatible systems first ( this makes sense from a business model perspective, as this way, any installation or usage failures would not happen early in the rollout).

Obviously the usual pre offer checks will be performed during installation and any system with known issues with hardware will not be offered the update until the issue is solved

Manual installation is the way to go for anyone waiting for Windows 11 as it gives the user control

Bad news, it's already mid-December but I'm still not getting the Windows 11 update.

Perhaps Microsoft blocks the update in my device because I have an incompatible software or driver. To be honest, I think upgrading manually is the only way to go...

I got tired of waiting and went with this method. Smoothest Windows update I ever did. I do have an image of my Win 10 build, but don't think I'll ever need it.
