Solved Where do you want your taskbar?


My preferred taskbar location:

Apparently only top or bottom location is possible so far as per Change Taskbar Location on Screen in Windows 11 but there are thousands of requests in Feedback Hub. I myself prefer my taskbar on the left as I value every bit of vertical space of the landscape-oriented screen. There is also auto-hide and the translucent taskbar. The former might be a second choice for me, but not the latter.

I thought the only options was center and left. I'm getting use to the Taskbar being in the center.

That's the taskbar alignment, not its position.

In Windows 10, the whole taskbar could be on any of the 4 edges of the screen. I always kept mine at the bottom.

I know the taskbar can be moved to the top, bottom, right or left in Windows 10. As far as I know in Windows 11 the choices are center or left.

I prefer it on top as it goes in congruent with my work flow.

I like it at the bottom in the centre. I use a customised start menu on the bottom left which was a direct import from win 10 so it is set up exactly as I want it so I get the best of both worlds :)

That's how it should be but I just wonder what they have to do to make it like 10 coding wise? I can't see it being a big deal making it like 10.. heck they are highly paid and some of the best, or at least they should be the best at what they do
