Next to impossible! John can read our posts as we're typing them..., (if he wants to!)
I hope he (@z3r010) doesn't spend too much of his valuable time doing that kind of monitoring. Even if he spends some of his valuable time doing it, well, that explains the cognac snifter in the online pics. He'll need a lot of that stuff, given the crankiness, hyper-sensitivity, and downright silliness of some of the stuff that goes on around here.

Wouldn't ever knock having a bit of fun. Fortunately, the vast majority of what transpires on z3r010's forums is so good it sets a very high standard for other resource sites.

I cast my vote in the poll and can't believe only 1 other user (excluding me) is using password safe.

pwsafe is just the best, the most recent version has a screenshot protection to prevent programs from taking screenshot of your passwords if you reveal them.

How many of those other password managers listed in the poll have this security enhancement? I'm pretty much sure none.
And I could name a ton of other security features that other pwd managers do not have.

Hi Zebal
Can you save vaults locally instead of online?
Can you wirelessly sync with your devices?
If both of these things aren’t possible, I can’t see myself ever using it.

Do people actually store their passwords online after LastPass got hacked twice. I thought everyone had learned the lesson. *lol* :D

Can you save vaults locally instead of online?
You can save your database only locally with pwsafe, no cloud storage is supported, which is of course plus if you ask me.
Putting your passwords into cloud just doesn't sound right to me.

Can you wirelessly sync with your devices?
I'm not sure how that works in your pwd manager, but you can sync 2 databases in pwsafe.

That’s actually perfect. I also can’t understand why people think a vault online is a great idea.

I'm not sure how that works in your pwd manager, but you can sync 2 databases in pwsafe.
With the old 1Password manager (ver 4) vaults are able to be saved locally and it allows you to wirelessly sync all your devices with the main vault on your PC. Vary rare from my looking into password managers. The new 1Password is subscription based and only allows vaults to be saved online, which I actually find suspect. I am fighting tooth and nail to keep using 1Password version 4. But it’s getting harder as they are trying to force upgrade. I have to block the company in my hosts and browsers.

I’ll take a look at pwsafe today, thanks 🙏

Not sure if all password managers do this, but:

with Chrome saving PW's, I simply Ctrl+Shift+click a bookmark in a foreground tab and press Enter, I'm in...

with a Password Manager, (Proton anyway), I have to click on the drop down, then click Login..., kind of a pain, really! 🤷‍♂️

Password Generators can sometimes be a p-i-t-a!
All those goofy characters..., takes me a half an hour to find them all on a keyboard!
Had to sight type one recently..., do you realize, with most fonts, a capital 'I' looks like a small 'L'! Arrrg, I was gettin so p*ssed off! :nope:

Any decent password manager-generator copies your P/W to the clipboard temporarily, so that you can simply paste. If mine didn't do that, I wouldn't continue to use it. 🎶 Should auld acquaintance be forgot ... 🎵 HNY, m'fren'!
