I don't know what a "14th-generation" motherboard might be. The Intel Gen14 CPUs ("raptor lake refresh") don't get a new motherboard chipset. They'll run on 600 or 700 series boards, given a new enough firmware.

It is possible that newer motherboards will support all Pcie 5, XMP and DDR5.

Pcie 5 is used for things Graphics cards, WiFi, and NVME storage solutions. It is backward compatible with Pcie 4 and Pcie 3.

XMP and DDR5 are to do with volatile memory standards. If your motherboard has an XMP profile for a particular RAM stick, then it is considered standard.

Plug-n-Play is a Microsoft standard to do with device driver compatibility and installation into the Operating System.

Intel 12th Gen and AMD Ryzen 7 series all support Pcie 5, if that is your question.

The inclusion of Pcie 5 standard does not exempt the need for XMP profiling. Perhaps you were confused by volatile and non-volatile storage?

Of course they will for the graphics and most I expect will have a PCIE-5 nvme slot. The PCI-E for the chipset will be PCI-E 4.0 though.

Wifi will be off of the chipset, as usual, and therfor will be PCI-E 4.0

when you use your DDR 5 RAM do you overclock it or do you simply start your Intel 13th generation computer and start using DDR 5 RAM with 6000 MT/S or do you use XMP profile if using XMP profile do you use it once or again and again.do you feel any difference b/w the Intel 13th gen PC and the AMD system?

XMP.

I haven't done comparison testing between my I9-13900K and Ryzen 9 5950X systems. There is no subjective difference.
