Any decent Windows Network mapping / file browsing programs --I'm getting sick of the random nature when file explorer is used to map compiters on THE SAME LAN !!!!

SSH, Ping, FTP, Telnet and Filezilla all work properly just giving the computer name but File explorer often shows NOTHING.

Cheers

Can't say about Mapping shares on other computers as I don't do that but I have no issue Mapping the main [named Public] folder on my NAS drive connected to the Router using Total Commander on both Wired and Wireless machines.

Connecting to a NAS is no issue, it's other PC's on your lan that always fail. I haven't had it work right since Win 2000.

NC just uses file explorer to browse network - so still fails to map correctly - if at all, plus it's paid software - so no point in using it if its still using the basic windows file explorer for file browsing.
