Why is Win 11 Windows Update still automatically installing drivers?

As the title says I thought this had been addressed some time back where Microsoft would put drivers as optional updates?
I am on OS Build 22621.1413 and it's still automatically installing outdates and unwanted drivers without even asking me?

I really hoped we were beyond changing Group Policy Editor for this stuff, but seems Microsoft changed their minds?

Thanks, I guess back to using Windows Update MiniTool since Microsoft seem to be unable to maintain any decent measure of consistency/reliable user experience.

Upgrade to Windows 11 Pro? You can disable driver installs using Group Policy

or use Microsoft's own wushowhide.diagcab tool (it's still available from MS as they only removed some references to that tool from their web site)
I always use this on any Win10 & Win11 computer to hide/block individual updates
