Good morning friends.
I have a question that I have been trying to figure out since upgrading to Win11 over year ago.
I have a cable modem Netgear C6250 that can handle multi channel and up to 1GBps

Well when I test my speed at DSLReports I always get an error report from their website site about it timed out. Try again.
I have used other speed test like Speedtest.com or even the COX network one and it seems that both of those seem slow on startup.
My ping speed seems ok but something seems to be slowing things down before any of the tests I have tried.

Speed is what I paid for I'm getting but like I said something is slowing down the test on my end.
First thing came to mind is my firewall which I reset. I'm using Malwarebytes firewall and I think Win firewall together.
Did turn off all firewalls and still had the same slow speed test starts.
Under all previous Windows and same hardware it was very fast to start and finish but as I said it's now very sluggish in starting.
Am I just wasting time worrying about ?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Wired directly with Ethernet. Speed isn't the problem.
See msg from DSL Reports after trying to do a speed test.
Haven't been able to use this since late 2021

Here is the msg I get at DSLReports.
More information is always better.
Thanks
