Still dont know how (??) to solve ; 40 seconds "welcome " , then 25 seconds black screen ..........without pass/pinn
18 seconds ................with pass/pinn

This time it takes before in my desktop !
Why (??) this difference in boottime............?? :what:

Next step, an in-place upgrade/repair. This means you download the same or newer version Windows 11 ISO, open it (mount) and run Setup.

Both. You run Setup from inside Windows, as if you would upgrade to a newer version, even if it is the same one. This will replace damaged system files.

Sfc is the first level of repair. If that fails l, then you go to the second level, in-place upgrade/repair. This not only restores damaged system files, but also returns sone settings to default which can make all the difference.

I think it is the same as running Setup from the ISO except you don't need to download it first. I didn't know of this option, thanks.

    Legacy MBR installation, no TPM, no Secure Boot, no WDDM 2.0 graphics drivers, no SSE4.2, cannot get more unsupported ;) This is only my test laptop. I had installed Windows 11 here before upgrading my main PC. For my main PC I use everyday see my 2nd system specs.
