why was the upgrade to 26100.8457 so massive? Time to downlod a new ISO?

On my Lenovo T16s Gen 6 AMD laptop, the install to shutdown process took almost an hour. And when I restarted my system today, there seemed to be more updating and several minutes, much longer than normal, just to get to the login screen.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Just curious as to why you are still on 24h2.

The latest download using the MCT is windows 11 25H2.8457. It took me a bit to install the latest preview update. The latest preview update is 25h2.8524

You are going by the device that is in specs. Look closer. The title to his thread is why was the upgrade to 26100.8457 so massive? 26100.8457 is 24h2.
25h2 is 26200.8457

Uh. thanks for bringing that to my attention.
Been too busy with "Life Happens" issues that come up when you are old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis or Nikita Khrushchev pounding the podium at the United Nations and saying, We will bury you

And, I have been struggling to install 2H25 on a custom system that has just gotten a motherboard upgrade. Once I get that done, I will then upgrade this laptop to 26200 for sure.

But anyway, the updates for 24 and 25H2 are the same size.
