Widgets Not Displaying Properly

My widgets on the taskbar won't display properly, when I click on the taskbar icon it first appears like it's going to load correctly as you see the outlines of the different boxes. Nothing ever happens and the the entire area turns black, I even took the time to update my graphics driver from intel.

That's farther than mine goes... if you use the shortcut or click the Widgets icon, you get the busy cursor for less than a second and nothing happens at all... :(

There have been some problems in the gui. Are you fully updated? A few sites say Edge needs to be default browser but unsure of that.

Thanks for your reply, yes the computer that is having the issue always stays updated & my default browser is already set to edge. I guess if that's my biggest issue then I'm pretty lucky.

There are solutions posted on this forum that worked for some but not for others. You can do a search for the threads by going to search on top right side and input widgets in search box. It will find all the posted threads for you.
