Widgets not working/updating - grey mostly sunny icon

If it's any consolation, the Weather app was down for a few hours, in my case it was removed completely and I was left with the Traffic monitor and News only.

Then at some point the Weather widget was re-enabled and it is now back to doing what it does best, lie ... lol

The weather information on the Widgets can be misleading as it's not shown where the data is actually for. For my town the NOAA/NWS has monitoring instruments at the local airport but there may be others in the town itself. My house is about the same elevation as the airport but both are higher a few hundred feet than town. Orographics plays a big part in the effects of our weather systems.
