WiFi problems - internet access, ACER Aspire 5 laptop Win11

Hi folks, the above laptop has the latest Win11 build, at home it can access both 2.4 and 5G wifi and the internet, yet at work it does see and connect to the network but will not access the internet [other computers there as well as my mobile do get access there to the internet] - what I have already done at the office:
- router/modem reboot
- disconnected an access point in case the modem has limits settings re devices
- disabled and deleted all laptop networks and joined again with the correct passwords, home was fine, office no go [no internet access]
- done complete network troubleshoot on laptop and various deleted/disable all network devices in device manager and did reboot
- did flush dns via elevated cmd config as well as ip reset and a lot of other netsh stuff in elevated cmd mode too many to recall
in short my next step is to get access to the router at the office, any ideas what to check for either in the laptop or router?

Have you tried installing the latest newest version of wireless card driver?

Any error message will help us solve the problem.
