So, I decided to clean install Win11. I made an AIO .ISO from UUP DUMP of the build, and placed on USB for booting by Rufus 3.15. I made my backups and copied relevant directories that had settings and such else where so I could clean 2 drives, NVMe #1 for C and NVMe #2 for D.
Installation went without a hitch. Fast, too.
However, when it came to using this tutorial to move drives, my first attempt went haywire. You can read about my experiences with that failed install starting from this post.
I fixed that issue, and Windows 11 is now cleanly installed on my system, with the
However, I have noticed 2 issues thus far:
1) Snipping tool is the old snipping tool from Windows 10, not the new one. It still prompts me to use Snip and Sketch.
2) The Windows Store is still the old style, not the new style (and I suspect that is what is affect the snipping tool as well).
If I find any more issues, I'll add them above.
I've checked for updates numerous times in Windows Store - it has updated, more than once, but it is still the old style.
