Help Please
Just bought a tower PC after my old PC of 10+ years died on me.
I'm having an issue with OneDrive and syncing Thumbs.db files
It keeps gives a sync errors asking me to rename these files. Really annoying.
OneDrive appears to work ok and continues to back files up.
My PC is running Windows 11 home. I don't have access to gpedit.
In file explorer I cant see them, searching doesn't bring them up.
I think they are needed. Disk cleanup does remove them but there are regenerated. Can i hide them in some way from OneDrive?
any help much appreciated. Many Thanks

Welcome to the forum. You won't see thumbs.db files unless you have folder options set to view hidden files. Thumbs.db files are database files containing the small images displayed when you view a folder in Thumbnail view (as opposed to Tile, Icon, List, or Detail view). These files are automatically generated by Windows, and there is no harm in deleting them..
Thumbs. db files are stored in each directory that contains thumbnails on Windows systems.(ie any folder your have set to thumbnail view.)

If Onedrive has an issue syncing these files, one of your thumbnail cache folders may be corrupted. You can clear your thumbnail cache. Clear and Reset Thumbnail Cache in Windows 11 Tutorial

If that doesn't solve the problem, prevent Windows from generating thumbs.db files. You can disable thumbnail previews using regedit or in folder options. Once done, clear thumnail cache again.
