Win11 Pro slow to open printer options

I bought a Beelink mini PC that came with Win11 Pro. Win11 and installed programs are on a SSD.
I have a self built tower PC thats running Win10 home. Win10 and installed programs are on a SSD.
I have a HP MFP M225dn laser printer that is connected to my router via ethernet cable.
So printing is done via the network,

When I initiate a print from my Win10 PC, the printer options pops up in about 1 second. This is the options to select portrait/landscape, nbr of copies, pages to print, etc.

But when I initiate a print to the same M225dn laser printer from the Win11 PC, it takes 9 seconds for the printer options window to pop up.
Is it normal for Win11 Pro to be that slow to pop up the printer options?

In case it's important, the Win10 PC is connected to the router via ethernet cable. The Win11 mini PC is connect to the router via wifi.

Wi-Fi connections are slower than direct ethernet cable connections. The farther away you are from your router, the slower the Wi-Fi connection will be.

Also check if you're connected to the 2.4 or 5GHz band...5GHz may improve performance drastically. Also 2.4GHz band tend to be quite congested and depending on router, if there's even one slow device connected to the network, it may drop the speeds very low for all connected devices. I had these kinds of issues until I upgraded my router to something more powerful.

Now I don't se any difference in networking performance between wired and wireless connections.

The mini PC is on the other side of the living room, about 10 feet away from the router.
I just tried printing from my wifi laptop that's running Win10. The laptop is about where the mini PC running Win11 is.
The printer options pops up within 1 second, like it happens on my wired tower PC running Win10.

Something is wrong with my Win11 mini PC. Or is the slowness being caused by Win11?

Just verified. The mini PC is connected via the 2.4 GHz band. The laptop is also connected via the 2.4 GHz band.
The mini PC takes 9 seconds to open the printer options pop up. The laptop opens it in 1 second.

Could you please post the specs of both PCs?

I assume the mini PC is a lot slower than the laptop.

Will check but I don't think the new 2023 mini PC could be 9 times slower than the 4 year old laptop to just open the printer options popup. There's no processing to be done. When asked to print it just has to open the printer options pop up. Something else must be wrong.

I'm guessing that Win11 is checking something before it opens the printer options popup and that something has to time out. But can't figure out how to troubleshoot it.

Checked. Results are:

Laptop: i7-6500U @ 2.5GH, 12 GB dual channel DDR4 ram.
Mini PC: 11th gen Celeron N5105 @ 2GHz to 2.9GHz, 8GB dual channel DDR4 ram.

But I don't think the CPU has anything to do with the slow opening of the print options popup. There's no processing to be done to initiate a print. Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem?

Slow opening of print options popup solved.

Per suggestion from a different website, I downloaded and installed the HP printer driver for the laser printer. I decided to install only the basic driver for the laser printer instead of the full featured software driver. Now the printer options pops up within 1 second.

Evidently the previously installed HP smart software allowed the laser printer to print but it took 9 seconds to handshake with the printer. The basic printer driver handshakes immediately.
