I leave the PC on overnight, usually with an idle game running & torrents.
Occasionally I'll try to awaken it in the AM (turn the speakers & monitor on, move the mouse) & the monitor says it cannot detect a signal. The system is frozen, the on/off button on the PC doesn't work, I have to hit the power bar to restart it. Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't even work!
I stopped the game overnight but it still happened.
It seems to correspond with various Windows updates. System says my drivers are OK, I'm checking the websites (video card, monitor) to see if there's fresh ones. System is set to never turn power off.
Edit: 706 MB of drivers? Can I install (update) one and delete that blob of useless MB?
This only started happening after support ended, pretty sure. I signed up for that extra year though.
Thanks!
