Windows 11 audio distortion

Hello All,
I just joined this forum today 4/11/2025. I bought a new Dell XPS 8960 Windows 11 in February and have been trying to fix the distorted audio sound since day one. I've tried all the Microsoft suggestions to fix this problem but have been unable to so far. I was hoping there might be a solution from some knowledgeable people here on this forum. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Is the distortion present on all audio applications? Speakers? Headphones? Have you tried the line out outputs on the PC?

Are the drivers up to date? Are you using the correct drivers for audio?

If you can't find a software, settings, or driver problem, the next step is to look at hardware.

Post is extremely vague....

What kind of distortion?
From where - with what media?
What audio software?
Soundcard?
What audio setup - headphones? speakers?

The OP's post reads like.... "I don't feel good; can anyone tell me why?"
