Hi everyone,
I'm facing a strange issue with file sharing between PCs on my local network.
I have several Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs. All of them can access each other's shared folders without any problem — except for one case:
My Windows 11 PC cannot access a shared folder on a specific Windows 10 PC.
When I try to access it using \\199.169.9.14, I get this error:
Windows cannot access \\199.169.9.14
Error code: 0x80004005
Unspecified error
Any idea what else might be causing this?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

- All PCs are on the same LAN (private network).
- The Windows 10 PC has network discovery and file/printer sharing enabled.
- Folder is shared with “Everyone” and correct NTFS permissions.
- Other Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs can access that shared folder without issues.
- From the problematic Windows 11 PC, I can ping the Windows 10 PC successfully.
Any idea what else might be causing this?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
