Windows 11 File Backup missing

On Win10, I can go to Settings > Updates & Security > File Backup.
How do I do this on Win11? I am aware on Win11 I can use Win7 System Backup Image creator, but that is not what I want. I am aware I can use 3rd party apps to create file backup, or I could do it myself manually.
I am asking how to do the same Win10 File Backup in Win11, thank you.

Just type backup into Start Menu..

Control Panel\File History

Freebooter, File History is not the same as File Backup.

I've written a couple of stories about this for ComputerWorld. TLDR version is: the built-in Windows Backup app falls short of true image backup capability. I recommend using Macrium Reflect (costs money, but worth it) or a "reasonable" free image backup alternative (e.g. EaseUS Todo Backup, AEOMEI Backupper Standard, or MiniTool ShadowMaker Free) instead. I use FreeFileSync as a real time mirror backup.

Or you could use Haslao to backup files and folders. Incremental, differential etc.

Both the above mentioned are unconditionally free programs.

In Windows 11 just go to the Windows Back up App. There it shows your options with descriptions. The first one is Folders.

If you want Drive/Partition imaging or other options you will need a third party app some of which have been mentioned.

That is File History, along with even older options (Windows 7), I have used File History myself through Windows 8.1 to 10, it seems to have gotten on and off unreliable.
Those are still there in Windows 11 via the old Control Panel.

The older (Windows 7) files backup is so ancient I won't use it. Seems I tried a long while ago in Windows 8.1 or 10, forget why it was never used. Not setup in Windows 11.

The image below is from Windows 11, identical to Windows 10, so no idea what the problem is.

My advice would be don't use anything in win11 - Play around with 5 or 10 apps, free or pay(they almost always have a free trial) and see which you prefer. Macrium is popular here as well as a bunch of others. I use Terabyte. The important thing is to DO IT!!! :)
