OS
Windows 11 2H25
Problem Description
I am attempting to perform a repair install of Windows 11 2H25 using a mounted ISO. The installation process stalls at 46% while it is searching for updates.

Expected Result
I expected the update process to proceed to 100%, followed by the setup performing a Repair Install.

Extra Details
My current Windows 11 2H25 installation is "very sick." Overall opetion is very slow. Explorer often fails to open a folder. I am unable to run many applications, and the system cannot shut down or restart normally. I have to press the power switch to shut down and then restart Windows.

Files or Screenshots
I have a screenshot made with the Windows SNIP application that I will attach.

My system was hung for about 15 minutes when I did this post. Then I went downstairs for dinner. About 45 minutes later, I was able to complete the install. System runs much better now, including apps that I could not run before.

I had the same issue. I worked around it by reinstalling Windows with skipping the update section. I also had corruption issues mainly with OneDrive.

I've always found it hangs at 46% for quite a while but the install continues after.
Easier and quicker just to use the option in Settings > System> Recovery
