Solved Windows 11 Start Menu pinned items . . .

Is there any way to have 7 columns of apps in the Win11 Start Menu?
Nope. Not now; not yet. You can do some significant customizing of Start with Power Start Menu from the MS Store. Free trial; peanuts if you decide to buy.

I've been playing around with WindHawk and really like it. Windhawk mods for the Windows 11 taskbar - Ramen Software. I don't have it working yet, but supposedly with Start Menu Styler, I can get 7 columns of icons, the all-apps menu on the left, and hide the recommended items: GitHub - ramensoftware/windows-11-start-menu-styling-guide: A collection of commonly requested start menu styling customizations for Windows 11

Of course, Explorer Patcher, Start All Back, and others are simpler options, but those are more reverting to Windows 10 instead of customizing Windows 11.

If anyone is interested - I wasn't able to get 7 columns of icons. I saw how to create enough space to support 7 columns of icons, but they would not "flow" up to the empty space. I think Win11 is hard-coded at 6. Although the WindHawk developer said it should work, so maybe I just didn't know how to hold my tongue the correct way.

I did manage to hide the recommended icons suggestions (which allows me to have 27 icons - 5 rows of 6 columns displayed without having to scroll the list, and have my all apps list on the left again.

Note: there seems to be a glitch where the all items list doesn't fully load - for example, if you scroll down, it will stop at B. That might be something with my settings, though.

If anyone want to try my code, it is posted here: Windhawk mods for the Windows 11 taskbar - Ramen Software

Didn't see a way to edit previous posts. This seems to only be an issue when you have been adjusting the settings in the mod, and after a reboot, it seems to be working perfectly now.
