Solved Windows 11 upgrade problems

Buddy, if you're happy to do a clean install booting from the USB, go for it.
Lets face it, the worst that can happen is it doesn't want to finish. In which case you might be left without an OS.
With an In-Place, if it fails, it just rolls back

That script resembles an old AveYo (or "AveYo adjacent") script. Rufus uses some newer logic to override the Setup block, as there are several ways to skin the cat if you're running an in-place upgrade.

Known methods:
- setuphost /product SERVER
- Random hacking of AppCompat libraries
- Random hacking of AppCompat reg keys to remove the marked "blocks"

Rufus currently uses something like this:

When creating the install media with RUFUS, did you check these two as discussed (the others are optional)

If you’re able to carry on after it says doesn’t meet the requirements, I suppose try. I don’t recall that message.

And no, there isn’t an easy way to know if you checked those options, you would need to repeat the RUFUS steps. The USB will be formatted automatically before the media is made.
