Hi and welcome to the forum..My Acer meets the requirements for windows 11 but some how my processor is not supported by windows 11 and it has 2 cores.
It's not on the support list for Intel Processors. Here's whyMy processor is an intel®celeron®processor N3060
Have I missed something???? If so, could you please post a link where Microsoft have indicated that. I have NOT seen anywhere OFFICIALLY published stating that they are looking at including older systems and IMO stated such things only leads to false hope for those that have older systems that do not meet Windows 11 requirements.there is a big chance that older computers may get it soon

Do you mean that you have access to inside information and are required by your employer not to reveal it, or you can't provide an official link because none exist?Cant' tell you that sorry.
Just saying that I heard there are some chance that they are working on getting more hardware supported but theyrae sure that my pro 5 can upgrade soon. Not sure about the other procssorses, they're e working hard to get every user on board. I am not working for microsfot, just lucky chance someone told me. I cant' tell you who or what, I dont' want them to be firedDo you mean that you have access to inside information and are required by your employer not to reveal it, or you can't provide an official link because none exist?
(I guess it's the latter.)
Stop.. I doubt they'll allow older hardware to have access to 11. They, MS, set the line in the sand and the hardware isn't going to change.Just saying that I heard there are some chance that they are working on getting more hardware supported but theyrae sure that my pro 5 can upgrade soon. I for one would love to see a link to verify that.Well, there you have it off an official Microsoft support page no less. For myself I'll wait and see what experiences others have in the future with updates and so forth before thinking about trying it with my 6700K Skylake.
It's here with an appropriate Microsoft warning: Ways to install Windows 11 but there is no indication anywhere that Microsoft has any intention of extending the current hardware compatibility list.I for one would love to see a link to verify that.
Ok.. I just wanted to read that over. It's here with an appropriate Microsoft warning: Ways to install Windows 11 but there is no indication anywhere that Microsoft has any intention of extending the current hardware compatibility list.

Warning:
- Microsoft recommends against installing Windows 11 on a device that does not meet the Windows 11 minimum system requirements. If you choose to install Windows 11 on a device that does not meet these requirements, and you acknowledge and understand the risks, you can create the following registry key values and bypass the check for TPM 2.0 (at least TPM 1.2 is required) and the CPU family and model.
