Windows 11 version 22H2 build 22621 rumored to be released on September 20, 2022

UPDATE 9/20:

Microsoft is yet to announce an official release date for Windows 11 version 22H2, but I have heard via my own contacts that the current planned general availability date is set for September 20. This date could still change, but that's what I'm told Microsoft is aiming for as of right now. The launch build of version 22H2 will ship as build 22621.

Additionally, I hear that the company is planning to roll out its first "moment" update for version 22H2 before the end of this year, which will add a handful of additional features that weren't finalized in time for the launch build such as tabs in File Explorer and Suggested Actions. This is what Microsoft is testing with Windows Insiders running build 22622 right now.

As always, until these plans are officially announced, the dates mentioned here could slip. But this is the current plan.

For First time ever doing a major update over the top instead of Clean install, only had issues with getting KB5017321 from Windows Update area, downloaded it from Ms Catalog, installed that one, rebooted, ran Windows Update again, and it seems to be fine now

Only other issue having Samsung Magician getting stuck on scanning for Drive information.

Normally with every major WIndows update during the time i was using Windows 10 up til Windows 11 released, always done a clean install, but i'm pleasantly surprised just a few minor issues so far it seems, overall happy

Yep, just got the notification from Windows Update!
I got the 11 22H2 ISO on to a USB flash drive, wiped the Western Digital Black SN850 1 TB NVMe SSD and did a clean install of 22H2.

There appears to be a new mea culpa moment for Microsoft, with what looks like an update that came out this summer or shortly before, because on a clean install, unlike the original release ISO, CBS insists a Bluetooth file is corrupted. (IIRC, it insists the Bluetooth driver file is corrupted.)
