Solved Windows 11 WiFi Still Missing Upon Reset

Are you sure it's a Realtek card? On the Networking list it also shows drivers for QUALCOMM, Media Tek and Intel. Though Windows should have installed the drivers automatically if the card was 'seen'.

Issue recap:
Called support about substandard Wi-Fi range The original reason for calling tech support, resulted in missing wifi driver. In an acceptable area (judged by constant use over 12 years on many devices), the wifi connection was substandard and getting worse, with growing intermittent connectivity.

Now missing WiFi Driver
Unable to add new driver in any possible way. The wifi is simply not available to windows. After many attempts with and beyond tech support - reboot, reset windows, usb install, manual add, install and extract driver package. I eventually found a way to finish the windows reset install, getting through the wifi screen since no wifi was available. I have tried many ways.

Note:
I am unclear on many concepts, and will soon provide some screen shots in current system and old Dell system that while only crawls after some 12 years will give some comparison.

So Acer told you to remove the driver? Or did they tell you to remove the device so that Windows would reinstall it on boot? Those are 2 separate things. Let them straighten it out under warranty.

I agree.
Just for info I keep a cheap USB WIFI dongle for troubleshooting similar issues. If Windows connect to WIFI with it then usually means the onboard card is dead or one of the cables was loose.

You can verify the maker of your wifi by going to control panel, right click on the device with the exclamation point under 'other devices', select properties, select details tab.

Check BIOS if network is not disabled there.
If not, remove battery for 5 minutes, and put it back and power on.

Yes, those little $5 150 Mbps usb wireless thingies work great, sometimes way better than what comes in a laptop. My favorite is the 'Cudy' which is a wallet breaker for $11. It's 350 Mbps. It gave me excellent wireless on 2 PCs that had none. Great troubleshooting devices too.

Appreciated, excellent suggestion! This all started because of suboptimal wifi reception in the kitchen. I tried changing the wifi channels from 1 to 2 (next) and 11 (furthest). It prompted me to resituate the router so the antennas would better beam that way and increased the range that my cell phone could get. If I would have considered it might be a faulty unit, I could have returned in the 90 day costco policy.
I was wondering if I should buy a wifi extender for that room, wondering if perhaps the design of the laptop had placed it in a blocking position compared to so many machines over many years without issue. Sitting near the router there was no problem with the signal. Although the increasing crashing and reboots perhaps should have also concerned me, I was just so happy to have a new laptop with the desired specs after nursing my dell along for so long until the right specs were available at a reasonable price. So perhaps an inexpensive external wifi usb would have solved it all very quickly. However also appreciate the journey of learning through this problem, although it has taken much time to reconcile with warranty support.

Solution - the hardware is not available to the OS.
It has been sent in under warranty.
All the ideas of investigative clarity were much appreciated!
