Windows Explorer keeps enabling search mode on it's own.

This is not something that happens reliably, 100* of the time, and I'm honestly only assuming that it is clicking it to focus that is causing the issue.
My windows explorer will randomly start searching using my last search. It does not need to be the explorer window I searched in (I typically have 4 - 10 windows open). I am not hitting any keys other than alt tab when on them during the times they activate. This is happening dozens, to hundreds of times a day, depending on usage. The search bar is always empty, and then next time I click to it I see that it is in a search results window. This started within the last week.

Im not sure if this has anything to do with anything but the last windwos update turned on settings that has to do with Focus. I had the issue of trying to click on one thing say in the settings menu and it was highlighting another setting on the opposite side of my screen, after i turned OFF all settings related to Focus, everything was fine.

Matteius,

Thanks so much for posting.
I've been seeing this recently on my Windows 10 computer [only] but thought I must have been causing it by inadvertently clicking on something without noticing.
Windows 10 Home x64 Version 21H2 Build 19044.2132

I'll take it more seriously now,
Denis

Is this focus assist? I've turned those off just now as I would never want them.

So, that did not fix it, but I've now narrowed this to a reproducible event.
The search is triggered by windows snapping. When I move a window and it gets a snapping suggestion, even though I do not snap it, it searches.

This triggers specifically sliding between windows, or snapping on a window, it does not appear to happen with just a suggestion within a window.
