Windows Mail app - search results and folders - confused.

When I use the search bar to find emails I get a list of results but how can I find out which email folder a particular email is in?
I can highlight or open any of the email 'hits' but nowhere can I see a path or a folder location.

How does that help? I just get a 'Move to' panel pop up - it doesn't tell me where the email resides presently.

Move it to a different folder, then you will know where it is, then move it again if necessary. Mail is nice to use in many ways but folders isn't one of them.

mmm.. the web version DOES show the present folder but the Mail app does not.
