I spent a bunch of hours yesterday evening/night.. and Yes it is possible to do this on a modern Uefi system that uses Bitlocker.I wonder if its possible on today's system.
But in the late 90's i was involved with a hacktivist group.. and back then i had a boot program with a fake error screen saying an error have occurred Press enter to continue.
But that was a wipe program.. so if any key but a specific one was pressed the drive was wiped... and if wrong was pressed the usual boot screen popped up as it should and the drive was working.. but instead of booting the disk became wiped.
Perhaps that can be done with modern windows.![]()
It becomes even more destructive then my 90's solution with zero chance to ever recover the drive ever again. It becomes a paperweight.
