Windows Photos is the default app for viewing images (jpg). When I double click an image, I get a popup that lists the file name and path and a message that says "The app didn't start".
In Powershell, I ran the command "get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage" to uninstall Photos. Then go to the Microsoft Store and install Photos. I double click the image file and get the same popup message.
