Yes, that's what I had expected too. But when it didn't I restarted explorer and it appeared in All apps. Maybe it was because I was using build 22610 for my tests.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Thankyou, worked for me. Start 11 gave a problem, so I disabled it and was able to Pin to the start.

maybe what i assume was restart was your ref to explorer. same result but mine was total reboot. either way am grateful to ya'all😜

Yes, generally for this sort of thing it's only explorer that needs a restart, of course a reboot will do that for you too :wink:

It worked for me without needing to restart anything.
