Unable to get Windows 11 24H2 to sleep or hibernate, please help!

If you are so inclined, you can read this thread: Find Wake Source for Windows 11 Computer

Or you can just go to Device Manager and disable "wake" on whatever woke your computer up, example mouse, keyboard, or network card.

I find I have to do this every once in awhile.

Network adapters are a common cause of this problem.

Go to Device Manager > Network Adapters and right click your network adapter(s). Click on the Power Management tab.
Untick "Allow this device to wake the computer".

Check the event log, might be a clue there. Mine wakes up from the keyboard, here's the log entry for what woke up the computer.
