Solved Word - Copilot in Right Click menu

1. Open the Registry Editor: (search for "regedit" in the Start menu).
2. Navigate to the following key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.
3. Right-click in the right pane and create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value.
4. Name it ShowCopilotButton.
5. Set the value data to 0.
6. Restart File Explorer or your computer for the changes to take effect.

• Open Word and go to File > Options.
• Select Customize Ribbon.
• In the right panel, you’ll see the list of tabs currently on the ribbon.
• You can:
  
  • Rearrange tabs by dragging them up or down.
  • Add new tabs or groups by clicking New Tab or New Group.
  • Rename tabs or groups by selecting them and clicking Rename.
  • Hide tabs by unchecking the box next to them.
  • Add commands to a group by selecting a command from the left panel and clicking Add.
• Click OK to save your changes.

• Change the following to “Google”
  • Bing Discover
  • Bing Search
  • MSN News
  • Bing Images
• Change MSN weather to “weather .com”
• Leave the PDF viewer as default.
• Check “Redirect Windows Spotlight”
• Uncheck “Redirect Windows Store Apps”

Using VBA to Customize the Context Menu​

1. Open Word and press Alt + F11 to open the VBA Editor.
2. In the Immediate Window, type:
   
   vba
   CommandBars("Text").Controls<br>
   This will display the available commands in the right-click menu.
3. To add a new command, use:
   
   vba
   CommandBars("Text").Controls.Add(Type:=msoControlButton).Caption = "My Custom Command"<br>
4. You can also remove unwanted commands by identifying their index and using:
   
   vba
   CommandBars("Text").Controls(Index).Delete<br>
5. Close the VBA Editor and test your changes.
