Word - what has changed ?

I'm interested to know the following: is it possible to track changes to a DOCX document for the moment between opening the document, and actually saving it. Is there a wy to sum up the changes done in that timeframe ?

Word only records insertions, deletions, formatting changes after Track Changes is turned on.
If it was off when you opened the document then nothing is logged.

Read up on or play with "Track Changes" I don't use it.

I'll have a look

I didn't mention yet but what is happening is that I don't actually change anything. I open a document, do nothing, close the document, and Word says I need to save changes. Didn't determine whether this is document related or machine related, or irregular.
