Just been playing it and it does not have an option for English, only for US English and it rejects valid words accepting US words of course. This is a showstopper for me.

I usually solve in 3 to 4 steps. The key trick is to have two different words such that all vowels are seen in first two words. I always use completely different consonants on second word even if I know those in first word. That way I minimise number of consonants needed to be found thereafter.

I do find it often rejects valid words like HALON though. Also, US spelling for English is a limitation e.g. color is accepted but clearly colour is too long. As a Brit, it is not natural to think to use US spelling. To me, a UK version should reject color for example.
