Hi folks -- WSL2 has really improved these days with decent Linux kernels -- I wish the Linux machine would be accessible from OTHER Windows or even Linux remote hosts - especially if all machines on the same LAN. The problem I think is that the networking on WSL uses NAT
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1492 qdisc mq state UP group default qlen 1000
link/ether 00:15:5d:4e:ae:13 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
altname enx00155d4eae13
inet 172.22.169.100/20 brd 172.22.175.255 scope global eth0
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
However my LAN addresses are all 192.168.4.XX
Maybe some network mirroring -- ???
What I want is for a REMOTE machine to be able to access a Linux disk mounted on the WSL as say /mnt/DV0.
Googling gives plenty of answers the OTHER way around but only on a local machine - e.g Wsl accessing Windows drives but that's not a problem !!!
Any solutions anyone.
Cheers
