Xbox App crashes when trying to download games, how to fix?

Microsoft Store works fine but this doesn't. Tried resetting, terminating, repairing, reinstalling, reinstalling Gaming Services through powershell as well. Nothing helped. What else can be done?

Clear Microsoft Store Cache

Press the Start key, type powershell, right-click it, and choose Run as administrator.

Type wsreset.exe and press Enter to clear the cache.

Restart your PC.

Did not help at all.

Open Command Prompt as an admin:
sfc /scannow

After it finishes, paste the following:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Restart the computer.
Try the game again.

If that doesn't work:

Check Core Dependency Services
Ensure the background services that handle Windows Store downloads are set to start automatically.

• Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
• Locate the following services, right-click each, select Properties, and set their Startup type to Automatic:
  • IP Helper
  • Xbox Live Auth Manager
  • Xbox Live Networking Service
  • Gaming Services
  • Windows Update
• Click Start if the service is currently stopped, then click Apply.

Try the game again.

If that doesn't work:

Change the Default Save Location
Corrupted delivery optimization files or permission issues on the target drive often crash the installer process.

• Go to Settings > System > Storage > Advanced storage settings > Where new content is saved.
• Change "New apps will save to" to a different drive (or toggle it from C: to another drive and back to C:).
• Restart the PC and try downloading again.

Have you tried disabling any third party Antivirus that you have running?
