Solved Xbox app signs me out whenever I log out but doesn't log me back in

Whenever I log out of my user account, the Xbox app logs me out and can't log me in again (see error in pic).
I only noticed this today for the first time.

After a restart I'm logged into Xbox again

Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.

All Xbox related stuff:
Gaming services
XBox
Xbox live

Click on 3 dots > Advanced options > Scroll down, Reset or Repair.

MS Store > Library > updates, obviously including Xbox related stuff.

Also any linked game clients like Steam etc, update those as well.

Probably stops one of the XBOX services - which restarts on reboot.

Use Windows Search and type Services

- after you open the Services app click on Name (to sort all services by name) - and scroll down till you find the following:

Right click on each of those and click Start. Try to login after doing that.

I've not changed anything in any settings, this has only started since yesterday as far as I know. I rarely sign out of my PC anyway (I'm the only user).
Probably a glitch with Gaming services that updated yesterday. I'll see what happens when it updates again.

Update: The four services @neves mentioned are at the default settings and don't change whether I sign out of Windows desktop or reboot.
I signed out just now and this time Xbox showed me as still signed in, but I got the error code when launching a game.

I tried stopping and restarting the Live Auth manager service but this made no difference, had to reboot again.

When you get an error which displays an "error code" like in you screenshot: 0x89235113

Google for that error code - in this case google for 0x89235113 and you might bump into some topic with same issue - where someone already found a solution.

I don't use xbox - and usually i disable all xbox services. Thus, when you mention an issue related to XBOX login - was pretty sure it was about those (since their description fits perfectly). Apparently, there's also a Gaming service newly introduce with some update - which i don't have on my system (probably cause i removed and disabled as much as i was possible - of GameDVR). So hey, hope you'll find the answer in above video.

Been happening since yesterday for a lot of people, Closing it down and re-opening it sorts it for me, Booted today and it signed in auto like usual so didn't notice it today

I have to restart the PC to get it working again. As long as I don't sign out of my desktop it's fine
