"Your Accounts" option under Accounts gone

Hello everyone,
I just noticed that the option "Your Accounts" (or was it called "Email Accounts"?) ... in order to access my email accounts ... has disappeared.
It was usually in Settings > Accounts > ...
As you can see in the screen shot I can still access it but only by typing it in the Settings search bar.
This machine is fully uptodate, well maintained, ran sfc, Dism, ... all good.

Why did this link/option disappear? How to get it back?

I only have one account, so I'm not sure what you are all referring to, but, at the bottom of "Your Info"...
is Accounts (Manage my accounts). Could that be what you are looking for?

Well, then I don't have it either.

I just created a Local Account under "Other Users", and I can then access it under "Other Users"
But, when I went to create the new account under Other Users, it wanted to make it an MS account.
But I clicked Next, and it made a Local account.

In Windows 11, the "Your Accounts" and "Your info" settings were reorganized to push users toward a unified Microsoft Account ecosystem. If you are looking to manage user accounts or remove an existing login, you'll now find these controls split into two main sections under Settings > Accounts: [1, 2]

Email & accounts: Manages email addresses used by specific apps like Outlook, Calendar, and Maps.

Other users: Manages secondary profiles or local accounts on your PC. [1, 3]

To switch to a local account or completely remove a primary user profile, follow these steps:

Microsoft isn't going back to the basics with Win 11, like they promised about 3-4 months ago.

The thing is, they didn't remove it. They removed the link to it from the settings page. The settings page for Your Accounts still exists.

Exactly, HeavyHemi ... it's still there but needs to be accessed via the search box "Email & Accounts" or via the link Brink mentioned.
To Ghot: that's exactly what this post is about: Email & Accounts" is gone ... it's not there anymore.
Also Ghot: if you have only one account (the administrator account ... it shows right at the top at Accounts), you would not find or need anything about various other accounts ... usually email accounts other than the main / admin account.

In the end ... if Microsoft purposely removed that option for managing various email accounts ... that's pretty ridiculous!!
Luckily it can be accessed by typing "Email & Accounts" in the search box or directly from the email app you are using (Mozilla Thunderbird > account settings, in my case) ... (screw everything Outlook!

if they didnt remove the page (yet) and only remove its visibility, see if they did it the lazy way and check

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

check to see if SZ "SettingsPageVisibility" exists. if so, is there a value "hide:" in there with that page listed?
