Windows Security and Malwarebytes Premium, here.

I use Webroot. It can recover from ransomware, most AVs can't.

I use Kaspersky Internet Security (Standard)

I use Windows Defender. It's been great for me so why do I change AVs?

I use the built-in Windows Security Antivirus together with MBAM Premium, along with good online hygiene and common sense.

MS Defender with 'Cloud protection' set to 'Block all unknown executables', and various ASR rules enabled. Occasional scan with Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool or Emsisoft Emergency Kit.

I'd use Defender too, as long as it doesn't block any unsigned programs that I want to install.

What is the best car? It is pretty much the same question, it depends on you.
As for AV, there is detection, performance, GUI, manageability, compatibility, cost.
I have chosen performance, the ability to add exceptions and to shut up Security Center.

I have tried a few other AVs in the past, and have returned to Windows Defender/Microsoft Security each time. It ranks up there with the other brands now in terms of effectiveness, and uses less, if not the same, amount of resources. I also have MBAM free that I run occasionally just for assurance.
