Solved. My feedback for those who are having same 0x8007042B 0x4000D error on an upgrade.
My wife has an old but very good i7 2600k on a Z77-A with 4+4G DDR3.
It was running Win 11 23h2 and I was trying to upgrade to 25h2 by doing an in-place upgrade and it was failing with 0x8007042B 0x4000D error.

The error seems to imply it is trying to migrate some type of Data but cannot.
The path to the solution I found on MS SetupDiag.
So I ran SetupDiag.exe, on the C:\$Windows.~bt\Sources and then opening C:\Windows\logs\SetupDiag\SetupDiagResults.xml
On SetupDiagResults.xml it said that D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Music folder was preventing to install and that I should delete the folder.
I don´t know why, under Documents, there was two Music folders. One was D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\Music (almost empty) and another D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Music (with musics). So I moved all files and folders from D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Music to D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\Music and deleted D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Music.
Documents also had two Picture folders: D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Pictures and D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\Pictures so I moved all files and folders from D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Pictures to D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\Pictures and deleted D:\Users\Nadia\Documents\My Pictures.
I think My Music, My Pictures and My Videos came from a Win 7 Pro installation. Although I did a Win 11 23h2 clean install on the SSD the data structure was kept the same on the HDD data drive.
Tried again the in-place upgrade and it was successful
