Hey there,

I'm reaching out because I'm having some trouble with my computer. I keep getting this error code 0xc00000e related to a file called winload.efi. I've tried restarting my computer, checking all the hardware connections, and even running a startup repair using my Windows installation media, but nothing seems to be working. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have “Secure Boot” set in your Bios? If so, disable it and see if that helps.
It also could be a bootloader issue but I am not the one to advise on this.

You could also try running these:

Open search on your PC, type CMD. Right click on the Icon and “Open as admin”

Type (or copy and paste) the following command:
Code: 
SFC /scannow

Press enter and be patient.

When completed, type (or copy and paste) the following command:
Code: 
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Press enter and be patient.

Reboot your PC

For Secure Boot for your motherboard. Try entering the BIOS and heading to:

Settings/Advanced/Windows OS configuration/Secure Boot

You could even try resetting the BIOS defaults.

Also, the latest BIOS update for your board is “AMI BIOS 7C89v1B” 2023-08-30
Last resort if you’re not use to updating. What version is your BIOS?

I had this same issue today. I booted into Macrium Reflect and clicked on 'Fix Windows boot problems'. Success!

There are many utilities that can do this.
