Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
Stay away from AT&T fiber. That BGW320-500 gateway won't let my android devices access a lot of sights. Like using the Pluto TV app, it never finishes loading. If I use a browser and go to pluto.tv it works great. If I use my cell phone and turn off the wifi and connect to the cell service it works fine with the app.
I also can no longer download firmware updates to my Asus NAS devices using the Asus ADM update in settings. I have to go to Asus support and manually download the FW updates and then install them.

As soon as another fiber provider is available, I'm done with AT&T fiber.

I've had a lot of problems with T-Mobile Home Internet. I kinda need at least a 5Mbps upload for my Twitch streaming (can work with less, but I get a lot of drops and discoes) and for the past several months it's been hit and miss if I'll have enough bandwidth to stream - more miss than hit. I just got off the phone with them, and the customer rep said that there was a lot of work on the two towers I'm close to but all that work should be completed now (imagine that - it was just completed).

Been debating about changing over to one of the Fiber options in the area (AT&T is currently advertising), but I'm not the sole decision maker where I'm at.

Has anyone been using AT&T Fiber and what are your thoughts?

I have been with AT&T gigabit fiber since 2017. I am in N. Texas just N of Dallas. My AT&T fiber has been excellent. I always test at around 950 down and 950 up with 4ms ping. AT&T has their service on battery backups. If the power goes out and you have a UPS for your RG (The modem/router) your internet stays up. Spectrum always goes out when the power is out. I have had only 1 outage since 2017 and that was when one of their central offices (Or whatever they are called) had a fire. Service was back up in 5 hours and hasn't gone down since. I am just a customer of AT&T but I highly recommend them.

Verizon obviously also has backup power since I've had multi day power outages and the FiOS just kept chugging. The whole area was out more than once, including the Verizon CO which is about a mile from my old house.
