Solved 2025-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 (KB5062553)

i had to go back to 4351 after in place upgrade of v4562 boot became slow disabling services/startup programs autoruns nor %temp% clean up didnt help now i paused updates for a month so it doesnt loop..

This update is really buggy! It feels like the nightmares of Windows 7! Where it got to the point where I didn't like Windows 7, unless I had updates integrated into the install media!

The error was brand new to the July, 2025 patch-Tuesday. That error isn't anything to panic about. It's the broken DISM state that had me forced to reinstall Windows, after I just installed 24H2 for the first time on my daily-driver, on June 10, 2025.

I agree with you my friend. This 2042 is supposed to be solved, but in fact many of us are still facing this. Win 11 24 h2 is full of bugs. I was having win 11 23h2 and i forced to upgrade to this crappy 24h2. For example dism startcomponent clean up is successfully completed at 70%! I will format my PC in October so as to have a clean win 11 24 h2 installed. I believe maybe this the problem..

Update: This error appears to have stopped occurring with the August, 2025 LCU.
