One of the most common problems posted in forums like this one frequently relates to users trying to activate new installations, and/or later problems after activation/updating. One of the most common causes is users who have bought cheap keys online from dubious sources, which are corporate volume licensing keys onsold multiple times, and at some stage Microsoft catches up and blocks further use. It's just handy to know the legitimacy of problem installations
