A new way to create a local user account - better than oobe\bypassnro

Not sure why you set the limit at 99%. Most consumer devices ship with the Home SKU, and that's what most people use at home. That's kind of why they call it the Home edition.
Actually not true any more - for example zillions of those cheap "Mini-PC's" (around €170 to 240 each one and zillions sold now world wide including well known decent brands like Beelink) ) ship with W11 PRO already installed !!!.

I think you've been reading that excellent book on "Fermat's last Theorem" !!!

(For any integer where n > 2 there's no solution to the equation x**n +y**n = z**n).

Looks deceptively simple but needed a whole host of modern mathematical tools including all sorts of topography --
none of these tools were even thought of during Fermat's lifetime -- these were only available around the 1960's although he suggested in a note scratched into one of his workbooks he'd found "a simple short proof"!!!

- What conjecture does yield though is if it leads to results that agree with what one can get in other ways - even by "Manual trial and error" and can predict "reasonably accurately" the result then it's still a valuable tool.

If ANY result is erroneous then of course the conjecture is false and any subsequent logical derivatives based on the use of the conjecture are void and must be re-assessed. If on the other hand results appear unvaryingly correct then an attempt must be made to formulate a proof -- when it becomes a "theorem" and in the case of mathematics in valid for all time.

One of the biggest queries in modern mathematics is to find a formula that generates every prime number. This is of use in cryptography since codes are generated by multiplying two extremely large prime numbers together - but the result also needs to be a prime number. Quantum computers might sort this out though !!!!

I never get a prime number when I multiply two prime numbers together. But if someone else does the multiplying and the two primes are large enough I don't have any hope of factorising the product.

If you're only looking at positive integers, then yes, of course, the product of two positive primes has only 1
, the two primes and itself as divisors.

Call σ0(n)

the function that tells you how many positive divisors a positive number n has. Then, if p and q are primes, then σ0(pq)=4 and those four divisors are 1,p,q,pq. Example: 65=5×13. The only positive divisors are 1,5,13,65.

When you are dealing with incredibly large numbers it's impossible to work this stuff out manually even using "classical computers" -- of course Quantum computing puts another whole issue at stake.

However with some of the nonsense some Banks now make when you try and access YOUR OWN MONEY e.g Tesco Bank in the UK - with ENDLESS text messages to enter a texted security code -- then you get another message "Your password had changed" - and then another whole thing again - and even then "Password" incorrect or whatever -- when just trying to check your balance -- or need 3 different devices --logon to phone app, fix password by logging on to website app etc etc. Just to CHECK YOUR OWN MONEY !! your balance or whether a €30 /£27.50 payment was made !!!! - while hackers seem tio be able to access people's banls with impunity. !!

Cheers
I HATE MODERN BANKS !!!

C'mon guys
Unless using Home edition of W11 what's wrong with the bog standard - no reg keys, oob commands etc way of doing it -

Just choose school or workplace for computer at the appropriate prompt and then for login option choose domain join.

I've mentioned this "Ad Nauseam" but still we get endless posts on this stuff requiring all sorts of complex ways to get "A local account".

Unless 99% of people here are using W11 HOME (which I really doubt) then what exactly is wrong with my method !!!.

Cheers
jimbo

What is wrong is that your method is that it is not universal and only applies to non Home users!

In the UK, vast majority of PCs bought by the public are laptops with preinstalled Windows 11 Home.

I bet Home is used by well over 80% (and probably nearer 90%) of those above.

Your earlier point about mini pcs is irrelevant - maybe lots are sold but still a tiny fraction when compared with amount of bog standard laptops HP, Dell, ASUS, Lenovo etc. that are sold.

If forums have one big fault, is its members are rather (unintentionally) intellectual snobs i.e. we forget vast majority of users just turn on pc/laptops, install apps they need and have no idea about regedit, how to bypass MS accounts requirements (and regrettably how to make backups) blah blah blah.

OOBE\BYPASSNRO still works with the latest 25H2 insider R.P. ISO 26200.5074 just downloaded on Sept 10, 2025.
I just tried it, and it worked as expected.

Edit:
Same command works with official MS RTM 25H2 ISO 26200.6584. 👍

So true. That includes my wife and my two adult children.

After creating the Canary 27975.1 ISO and USB installation media from uupdump, I tried a clean install, and I saw that OOBE\BYPASSNRO is now available again with this build. Also, the command "start ms-cxh:localonly" is available again.
I hope they leave those there, so that I don't have to find some other workaround. 🤞

We'll see what happens when Microsoft releases an official ISO for Canary. 🤷‍♂️
